No Limit Poker Hands Analysis Game Introduction

Hello everyone, it's time for our long-awaited no limit Holdem live game hand analysis. Today, I will share with you some hands from this session and how I assessed my opponents' ranges to maximize value. So, let's see what exciting hands we have from this no limit poker live game!

No Limit Poker Hands Analysis On Flush and Quads

No Limit Poker Hands Analysis: How to Play When You Hit a Flush?

The first example we will be talking about how to do when you hit a flush during no limit poker cash game.

8-handed game, blinds 20/40, folds to button who raises to 240, I'm on the button with 8c9c and choose to 3-bet to 800, everyone else folds, both players have 20,000 behind, pot is 1660.

Flop: Kc 10c 7c, we hit a flush. It checks to us, and we need to be aggressive to balance our range of continuing with the nut flush draw. We bet 1000, and the button check-raises to 4500. Let's analyze the opponent's range.

Since the button called the 3-bet before the flop, if he had a big ace with a club, he would likely raise more. We also need to consider if he has a set or two pair as poker hands.

Assuming the button has Ac, the only combinations he could have are AQc and AJc. On the other hand, there are many combinations of sets and two pairs in his range.

If we shove, the button is likely to fold his combo draws, but we can get value from his two pairs and sets. Since our range includes many combo draws with an ace of clubs and one-pair hands like AcKx, we decide to re-raise all-in.

The button calls and shows Kh 10h. The turn is 4d, and the river is 5s. We scoop a pot of 40060.

No Limit Holdem Poker Hands Analysis: How to Play When You Hit Quads?

How to Play When You Hit Quads

The second example we will be talking about is what to do when you hit a quads during no limit holdem cash game.

10-handed game, blinds 50/50, I raise to 200 with 5s 5h in UTG, the button 3-bets to 800, everyone else folds to me. I call since the button is a player who often plays small aces aggressively. If there are no overcards on the flop, I plan to check-raise.

Flop: 8s 5d 5c.

We hit the best possible flop and just call the button's bet of 1400. The turn is 10d. I check, and the button bets 4000. I call, and the pot is now 12500.

The river is Qd, completing a flush. I decide to bet 3000, trying to look like I'm testing the waters with a small value bet, making it seem like I have a hand like Aces or Kings. The button thinks for a moment and shoves all-in for 18500. I snap-call, and the button shows Ah 3h as a bluff. We win the pot with quads.

No Limit Holdem Poker Hands Conclusion

From these two hands, we can see that our strategy for our poker hands should vary based on our position and our opponents' ranges after the flop. This is the beauty of no limit Holdem, where we must constantly think about our opponents' ranges to determine our actions and decide how to balance our bluffs with our value bets.

That's all for this no limit Poker live game hand analysis. See you next time.
