For this season, the Grand Cholas have appointed Antony Dhas as Trichy Grand Cholas captain. Antony, previously part of Ba11sy Trichy, was retained by the Grand Cholas. He has a solid record in the TNPL, having taken 38 wickets in 48 matches at an average of 28.42.
