Haryana Steelers Team: Season 5
The Haryana Steelers made their debut in PKL Season 5, finishing third in Zone A and qualifying for the Eliminator round. Despite a valiant effort, they were unable to secure a win and were eliminated from the tournament. Surender Nada stood out as he scored the most tackles in the tournament with 80 points across 21 matches.
Haryana Steelers Team: Season 6
Unfortunately, the Steelers had a dismal run in PKL Season 6, finishing last in Zone A and failing to qualify for further stages of the competition. Their foreign players Md. Zakir Hossain from Bangladesh and Patrick Nzau Muvai from Kenya did not perform up to expectations.
Haryana Steelers Team: Season 7
In PKL Season 7, however, things started looking up for Haryana Steelers as they qualified for playoffs after finishing fifth in group stages. Despite putting up a good show during the tournament, they lost to U-Mumba in the eliminators due to failure at crucial moments.
Haryana Steelers Team: Season 8
Season 8 of the Pro Kabaddi League proved to be challenging for Haryana Steelers as they missed qualifying for playoffs by just two points with Puneri Paltan edging them out at 66 points while they remained stuck at 64 points.
Haryana Steelers Team: Season 9
The Haryana Steelers were considered to be a team with a lot of potential prior to the start of the season, as they boasted experienced players in their roster. Joginder Narwal, who had made some impressive captaincy decisions in Season 8, was expected to continue his great leadership in the 9th edition.
However, he failed to replicate his magic this time around. Although Manpreet Singh, one of the most respected and aggressive coaches in vivo Pro Kabaddi, was brought on board to guide the Dhaakad boys and add more firepower to their playing style, it simply wasn't enough. Despite putting up a valiant effort similar to Season 8, the team fell short of advancing to the next round.
