Cricket IPL Winner 2023 - Chennai Super Kings
Chennai Super Kings is the Cricket IPL winner 2023 season where they beat Gujrat Titans in the final at the Ahmedabad Stadium. The final of this 2023 IPL season was one of the most thrilling finals that ever happened in the game of cricket. Gujrat Titans were defending their IPL trophy and against them was one of the most successful franchises in IPL cricket.
Hardik Pandya was leading the Gujrat Titans while MS Dhoni was the captain of Chennai Super Kings. Titans batted first and set a mammoth total of 214 runs in its first innings courtesy of some brilliant batting from Sai Sudharshan.
In reply, Chennai Super Kings made a quick start with Devon Conway smashing boundaries all around the park. Later on, rain disrupted the play, and overs were reduced. In the final over, 13 runs were required and Jadeja and FDube managed to score just 3 runs in the first 4 balls of the over. In the last 2 balls, Ravindra Jadeja smashed a six and a four to seal the victory for Chennai Super Kings.
Devon Conway was declared the player of the match while Shubmann Gill was awarded the player of the tournament award. Chennai Super Kings were awarded the Cricket IPL Winner 2023 and with this victory, CSK put its name in the IPL match winner list all season for the 5th time, most by any team.
