The team management has made several key changes to their U Mumba team player 2025 for PKL Season 11. Ahead of the auction, they retained their experienced right-corner defender, Rinku, along with left-corner defender Sombir. However, they released their right-left cover pair, skipper Surinder Singh and Mahender Singh.
To fill these gaps, U Mumba signed one of the most successful defensive pairs in recent times—cousins Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal.
In terms of raiding, U Mumba lost their top raider, Guman Singh, and signed Manjeet for INR 80 lakhs. Supporting Manjeet will be all-rounder Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, who was one of the Elite Retained Players.
U Mumba might also rely on a third raider to provide additional support. Shivam, who showed potential last season, could take on this role. With these changes, U Mumba is aiming to make a strong comeback and win their second PKL title, having last reached the playoffs in Season 7.
U Mumba Head Coach:
Gholamreza Mazandarani, the only non-native coach, will pull the strings for U Mumba this year. Mazandarani has the greatest international experience of all the coaches because he guided Iran to the 2018 Asian Games gold medal.
On the downside, U Mumba, who are fresh off the playoffs, are still looking for a fortune-altering season. U Mumba team player 2025 looks forward to the new coach applying his innovative strategies in the upcoming season.
