  • Players take turns to place down their cards.
  • You can only place down a card when one of the cards matches the one on the table.
  • The table only has 2 numbers available to be matched at all times, and only the first card accepts being matched at the beginning.
  • If you have no matching cards, you will be blocked, and the turn will pass down to your opponent.
  • The game will end if one of you runs out of cards or both have no cards to play.

After you learn how to play the Domino Go Game, you need to learn how the game calculates a win or a loss.

Domino Game Online Points Calculation

Here is how the Jili Domino game online point system works as you are at the end of the game. At the end, both players will reveal their hand cards if there are any left, and the points will be calculated, and the results of who will win are followed by the rules below:

  • The side of the lowest point wins.
  • The players with the most card points will lose, and the points will go to the opponent.
  • If both players have the same total card points, the winner will be determined by the following tiebreaker rules:
    - The player with the fewest number of cards will win.
    - If both players have the same number of cards, the one with the lowest points on a single card will win.
    - If the above rules are still the same, the player who has the smallest number on any one side of a card will be the winner.
  • If a player wins by playing all of their tiles, they will receive an additional 10 reward points on top of the points taken from the opponent.
  • If the winner’s total score does not reach the target score set by the game, the accumulated points will be carried over, and the next round will begin.
  • If the winner’s total score reaches the scoring target, the game ends, and the losing player must pay the winner an amount based on the point difference and the bet multiplier.

Domino Game Online Payout

Ok, now you understand how the rules are played and under what circumstances you will win, so let's talk about how the payouts are calculated.

Here is how the payouts are calculated:

  • If the point difference is less than 25, the payout is 1x the bet.

When the jackpot is unexpectedly closed, the closure period will not affect the jackpot amount and player contributions, which will be restored when the jackpot reopens.

When the jackpot is won by the player, the jackpot amount will reset to the default value.

The default minimum value of the jackpot is 3,488.37, with no upper limit on the accumulated value.

Domino Game Tricks

In Jili Domino Go, mastering combinations is the key to victory. While the game may seem straightforward at first, winning consistently requires strategy, timing, and the ability to read your opponent.

Here are the Domino game tricks we arranged; hopefully, you will find them useful while playing.

Build Up Combination Order First

In the beginning, it might feel natural to play your highest card early, especially since the winner is determined by who has the fewest points remaining. However, as you gain more experience, you'll realize that the order in which you play your cards becomes crucial. When executed correctly, the right sequence can allow you to clear all your cards and score a Domino Win, which grants an extra 10 points.

Start by evaluating your hand as a whole—look at the total points and aim to reduce them as much as possible. From there, focus on forming effective combinations and planning the order of play. This balance between lowering your hand’s value and maximizing card flow will improve your chances dramatically.

Keep the same numbers together as much as possible, and if your opponent starts getting blocked by the same number, this is your chance to win.

Analyze Your Opponent’s Move

As the game progresses, the most important Domino game trick is to observe and analyze your opponent's moves closely. Their card placements provide important clues, helping you predict what cards they might still hold. Timing your plays to block your opponent while keeping your combinations intact is a vital tactic. Even if you can't play all your cards, a smart strategy can still minimize your loss points.

Domino Game Trickes

Let’s use an actual game to explain this better. The image below is a game that is almost over. My opponent has 4 cards left, I also have 4 cards left with 3|6, 0|6, 0|3, and 0|2.

  1. The table is opened with 5 and 6, none of us has connected the number 5 from the first card, so I ruled out the option that my opponent still has another card with 5.
  2. I placed down the card of 6|3, as I have both 0|6 and 6|3, leaving the table with openings of 3 and 5. The reason why I place out the bigger numbers’ cards first is to lower my risk of heavy loss, and also I still have 3 cards with 0, which gives me a better chance of placing out more cards with 0 connected.
  3. My opponent placed down a 3|3 next, leaving the table with 3 and 5.
  4. Then on, I chose to place down a 3|0, as it’s the only connecting card I left. This gives me a big opportunity to place another card down, as there are already 3 “0s” on the table and also 2 in my hand, the odds of my opponent having “0” are small. I have a big chance of lacing more cards with 0.
  5. As I expected, my opponent is blocked. So I went down to put down the 0|6, to lower my points that I had left in my hand, knowing that my opponent does not have any more 0 left.
  6. We are both blocked, the game has ended. I have 0|2 left. My opponent has 2|3, 2|4, and 3|4 left. I won 18 points and won the whole game.

By the game above, you will know that analysing what your opponent has is the key during the game, this will help you make a better decision on what card to place down next, lower your point loss, and even block your opponent.

Sometimes, luck plays a role—you might even win in the first round if your hand and play line up perfectly opposite. As for the last card, it may or may not be decisive, but staying mindful of its potential is always wise.

Choose Your Cards Order Carefully

This is a very crucial part when you are near the end of the game. Here is an example of why your card order is really important.

During the image, you can see that our opponent still has 2 cards left after placing down a 4|4, and now the numbers ready to connect are 2 and 4, our hand cards are 0|4 / 3|5 / 0|2.

Domino Game Trickes

Here is what happened next:

  1. I choose to place down the 4|0 on the next move, making the numbers ready to connect with another 2 and 0.
  2. Opponent placed down a 0|3, making the numbers open on 3 and 2.
  3. I placed down a 3|5, making the numbers open on 5 and 2.
  4. Opponent then placed down a 5|1, the game ended, and I lost while still having a 0|2 in my hand.

From the result, you can know that this is a game that could’ve been different if I place down the 0|2 first before I did my second move on 3|5. If I had placed down the 0|2 first, my opponent would be blocked, leaving me the space to place the 3|5 as the last card and win the game with an extra 10 points on Domino.

This is why choosing your card order is important, as just by switching a simple move, your results might be totally different.

This is the end of our Domino game tricks, I hope you pick up something from it and make your winning rate better. In the end, Jili Domino Go rewards players who combine quick thinking with long-term planning. Make every card count.
