From my gameplay experience, the game clearly has alternating hot and cold cycles, which all players will go through. If you don't manage to hit your ideal rewards during a hot streak, it’s best to hold back during the cold phase. Then, once the hot phase returns, you can increase your firepower. After scoring a good win, it's smart to exit the game promptly.
One thing to note—the Spirit Dragon is extremely difficult to encounter. Even after progressing through several bosses, there's no guarantee it will appear. I've played for a long time and still haven’t seen it, which was a bit disappointing. The game might need some adjustments to make the final boss appear a bit earlier.
