Evolution Gaming Side Bet

Side Bet City is a table game by Evolution Gaming, a provider of live dealer games for Internet casinos. The game is pretty simple, the dealer deals out three cards, then another two to make a five-card hand, and then two more to make a seven-card hand. The player may bet on the poker value of any of the three hands or all three to lose. Except for the addition of the No Win bet, the game is much like 3-5-7 Poker with different pay tables. This game offers huge payouts up to 1000x! So take your seat, go with your gut, and enjoy the show.

Side Bet City Rules & How To Play

A Live Dealer will guide you on how to play these poker games, and every half an hour, a new person will be your host. The dealers are all dressed in neon colours, to fit in with the bright theme of Side Bet City. You will also notice a question mark at the top right of the screen, which will launch a Help section, where you can learn more about side bet city rules.

Evolution Gaming Side Bet

The game itself is incredibly straight-forward, there is a deck of 52 cards that are shuffled following each round. Players simply have to place a bet on a win for a 3-card hand, a 5-card hand, 7-card hand or an all lose option.

There are four bets available, as follows:

  • 3-card hand - Players are betting on a result from the first 3 cards dealt.
  • 5-card hand - Players are betting on a result from the first 5 cards dealt.
  • 7-card hand - Players are betting on the best 5 card hand from all 7 cards.
  • All Lose - Players are betting that there will be no winning hand.

Once bets have been placed the dealer will then deal 7 cards face up on the fable one by one. Winning hands are the same as standard winning poker hands and are as follows:

  • Pair - Two cards with the same value
  • Pair JJ / AA - A pair of Jacks or better, only available on 5-card hand
  • Two Pairs - two sets of pairs, only available on 5-card hand
  • Three of a Kind -  3 cards with the same value
  • Straight - Five cards in sequential order
  • Flush - All cards are of the same suit
  • Full House - A hand that contains Three of a Kind and a pair
  • Four of a Kind - The same number card from every suit
  • Straight Flush - Five cards in sequential order from the same suit
  • Royal Flush - A run of cards from the same suit - Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten

Side Bet City Payout

You will usually receive payouts for the same wins for three of the four main bets. However, how much they pay is drastically different! The top-paying card combination for three of the main bets is Royal Flush. For the low-risk three-card hand, it will pay 100:1, which is really good. However, it is nothing compared to the 500:1 payout for a seven-card royal flush, or the five-card 1000:1 win!

For three-card hands, you get 40:1 for a straight flush, 4:1 for standard flush, 5:1 for straight, 35:1 for three of a kind and 1:1 for pair. Five-card hands give you 250:1 for a straight flush, 100:1 for four of a kind, 50:1 for a full house, 40:1 for flush, 25:1 for straight, 7:1 for three of a kind, 4:1 for two pairs and 1:1 for JJ-AA pairs. Finally, seven-card hands pay 100:1 for a straight flush, 50:1 for four of a kind, 7:1 for a full house, 5:1 for flush, 4:1 for straight and 3:1 for three of a kind. All lose nets you 0.7:1 when won.

Side Bet City Basic Strategy

With no decisions you can make, the game of Poker is reduced to luck based game. Initially, the dealer deals three cards face-up from a single deck shoe and they determine the result of the 3-Card Hand. The next two cards are dealt and they reveal the result for the 5-Card Hand. Finally, the two last cards are dealt determining the result for the 7-Card Hand. These cards also reveal whether the All Lose bet wins. Keep in mind that this bet wins only when none of the 3-Card, 5-Card or 7-Card Hands has won. You can play the All Lose bet only.

What you should know about all the bets available is that they don’t pay the same way. For instance, creating a royal flush hand with a 3-Card Hand bet pays 100:1, with a 5-Card Hand 1,000:1 while with a 7-Card Hand bet it pays 500:1. An RTP of each bet varies as well, so the bets with the highest RTP are 3-Card Hand with 96.69% and All Lose with a 96.29% RTP. The 5-Card Hand bet has an RTP of 95.21% while the 7-Card Hand bet has even lower RTP of 94.34%.

The value of RTPs can help you make the right choice. Although you can never tell if a certain bet will win in the games like this one, your odds are higher with the 3-Card Hand and All Lose bet. When it comes to the All Lose bet, you can think of it as the Insurance bet in Blackjack. It pays only 0.7:1, but it wins quite frequently. If you want to play longer, you should consider playing the bets with the highest RTP – 3-Card Hand and All Lose. For added excitement, you can place a 5-Card Hand bet every now and then as it pays the biggest prizes.

Side Bet City FAQ

What Are Side Bet City Odds

Side Bet City odds are determined by the strength of the bet one chooses to place. For instance, the no win position has odds of 0.7:1.

Is It Ideal to Place Four Bets Simultaneously

No. While placing two bets (no win and 3-card hand) at the same time is prudent, four wagers could quickly drain a player's account.

Side Bet City online is quite simply an exciting take on classic poker, but more fast-paced and full of nail-biting suspense, and with a higher payout potential.
